| The one thing we all have in common is that we all have to eat, and as such we are all interested in food to various degrees. Cooking and eating is a great way to bring people together, either family, friends or work colleagues. It allows people to develop, learn new skills and share their knowledge with others. All good chefs rely on great teamwork to produce top results and you will be amazed what you can achieve both individually and as a team. We offer a range of culinary team building sessions, which are afun and effective way to bring the most diverse groups together
These sessions are available mid week and weekends throughout the year. A great idea instead of a Christmas party.|
Our events can be enjoyed by all ages and all abilities (including no cooking ability!) Those with limited cooking skills should not be put off. Our teachers and chefs are used to working with people at all levels and abilities. You and your team can decide what style of cooking and recipes you would like to cover. We have found that the courses which work well for theses events include a multi course meal such as Italian, Spanish, Thai, Indian or Seasonal Supper menus.
|Timings are totally flexible to suit the group. The days are designed to suit your teams needs, catering for special dietary requirements where needed.|
These sessions bring people together, break down boundaries and barriers, while at the same time giving participants the opportunity to learn culinary skills from our chefs and teachers. They also give you an opportunity to bringing your team together with an exciting interactive opportunity everyone will benefit from.
These events can vary from 2 hour practical sessions to full day sessions with additional guests joining in the evening . A fun relaxing finale to a great day.
The school provides all equipment and produce. All washing up is done for our guests as well as all weighing up, so that guests can really focus on the food preparation and eating. Aprons and recipe portfolios are provided.

I am writing to thank you and your colleagues for the team-building event held in may at The Nottingham School of Cookery for the Operations and Quality Team.
The event was very well organized, both in terms of planning before the day and the preparation of ingredients and equipment before we arrived on the day itself. I was also very impressed with the amount of flexibility offered in the menus and timings.
All your staff were attentive, polite and welcoming and the information you gave us during the cooking and the meal was interesting and relevant to the menu prepared. We have all learned things that we will be able to use in our cooking at home.
I have had nothing but positive comments from the members of the department that attended and everyone enjoyed it. The cookery course provided a refreshing change from the usual sort of team building event and I will certainly be recommending The Nottingham School of Cookery next time anyone else in the company is looking to hold such an event.
