James Wood and Claire Tuttey have joined forces and put together this exciting new course.
James Wood is an experimental wild food forager. Heís written for most national magazines, holds cookery demonstrations with the RHS and has appeared on programs for the BBC and other filmmakers.
On the course you will be guided by him on a local forage looking into the extensive range of uses there are for the plants and fungi found growing all around us.
He makes paper from mushrooms, sweets from stems and many more exciting food experiments, which he will share with you throughout this in depth course.
You will learn about the seasonal availability of the plants surrounding us, learn how to correctly identify and sustainably harvest wild plants, try lots of pre-made tasters and then harvest our own bounty of wild foods to cook up back at Manor Cuisine Headquarters.
